ONTOCHAIN – Wild and Crazy Ideas Session @GECON 2020

We are excited to invite you to the Wild and Crazy Ideas (WACI) session at the GECON 2020 conference.

We shall share some crazy ideas about ONTOCHAIN, a €6M Next Generation Internet project that aims at marrying Semantic Web with Blockchain. The project will deliver a software ecosystem with off-chain and on-chain ontology, data, metadata, knowledge and information management methods to be freely used for new applications development. Such applications will foster trust management in a decentralised ecosystem of actors. ONTOCHAIN will build a software engineering community and will feature cascade funding in three thematic calls, following three project phases (Research, ONTOCHAIN foundations and Applications), distributing a total amount of €4.2M.
