Info Session on NGI Initiative in France

FreeInformation Session on the Next Generation Internet Initiative in France
The ICT National Contact Point (NCP), in cooperation with Cap Digital and Images et Réseaux competitiveness clusters, organises an information session on the Next Generation Internet Initiative (in French) on 1 December 2017 in Paris.
In Autumn 2016, the European Commission launched the Next Generation Internet (NGI) Initiative which promotes a more open and interoperable Internet offering better services. In the ICT LEIT 2018-2020 program, a set of open calls is dedicated to this Initiative and addresses different technologies such as immersive technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, social media, etc.
In order to better understand this new initiative, the ICT NCP organises an information session on 1 December 2017 in Paris, where the EC will present the calls which were opened on 31 October (deadline on 17 April 2018):
- ICT-24-2018-2019: Next Generation Internet – An Open Internet Initiative (RIA 21.5M€ – CSA 7M€)
- ICT-26-2018-2020: Artificial Intelligence (RIA 20M€)
- ICT-28-2018: Future Hyper-connected Sociality (RIA 10M€ – IA 10M€ – CSA 1M€)
- ICT-29-2018: A multilingual Next Generation Internet (RIA 18M – CSA 7M€)
- ICT-31-2018-2019: EU-US collaboration on NGI (CSA 2.5M€)
