The eSSIF-Lab’s, Business-oriented Open Call for Self Sovereign Identity projects closed on 7 May, 2020. It has generated high interest from innovative companies all around Europe, developing self-sovereign identity-based solutions that make it easy for organizations to deploy and/or use SSI.
The pen call closed with 54 submitted proposals, from 21 countries, with an overall 161 of total started applications, from 24 different countries.
The evaluation period has already started and the final results will be available by the beginning of July. Selected projects will be invited to join an 8-month acceleration programme, structured in 3 competitive stages. Those, reaching the last one, can get equity-free funding up to €106K.
