Full description: The TILDE project by Know Center Research GmbH built a health search system on the Open Web Index that goes beyond relevance. It extracts medical entities from 200,000 health-related web pages, normalises them to clinical ontologies, and implements a hybrid search engine. The distinctive feature: a three-stage fairness pipeline built on Stanford’s DSPy framework that enriches results with trustworthiness attributes, re-ranks them to maximise fairness while maintaining credibility, and audits its own outputs for stereotypes.
