When someone passes away, their beneficiaries are not always fully aware of the existence or location of their assets, insurance, investments…(90% wills are generic) getting lost through the succession process (€15M in abandoned bank accounts yearly in Spain, 20% unclaimed insurance, 10% of inheritances are rejected due to taxes...etc). During inheritance, people need to deal with up to 15 different institutions; tax authorities, registries, financial institutions, insurance providers, notaries, lawyers, utilities providers… during the most stressful & vulnerable moments in their lives. Inheritance planning and succession are complex and expensive processes. LiV sees an opportunity to improve the way in which these interactions and services take place. LiV is a web-platform built on blockchain and AI that democratises access to inheritance planning and succession (wills, digital advisory...), simplifying processes, reduces risks, time and costs for the ecosystem
