SUMMARY:Fed4FIRE+ webinar #3: GPULab
DESCRIPTION:FED4FIRE+ WEBINAR #3 | GPULAB TESTBED\nGPULab is a distributed system for running jobs in GPU-enabled Docker-containers. GPULab consists out of a set of heterogeneous clusters\, each with their own characteristics (GPU model\, CPU speed\, memory\, bus speed\, etc.)\, allowing the user to select the most appropriate hardware. Each job runs isolated within a Docker containers with dedicated CPUs\, GPUs and memory for maximum performance. \nThis webinar will provide an overview of the GPULab resources\, the different ways of experimenting with GPULab and a hands-on tutorial experiment. \nTARGET AUDIENCE\nThe intended audience is hands-on experimenters who want to use (large) testbeds to put their research on a higher level. Background required: basic linux know-how and know how to use ssh to login on a remote computer. \nHANDS-ON MATERIAL\nAll tutorial material is available online at https://doc.fed4fire.eu and/or https://doc.ilabt.imec.be.\nSee the links above for examples. \nTO REGISTER\nRegistration to the webinar is free\, but mandatory.\nBOOK IT HERE. \n\nIf you would like to receive more information about the next Fed4FIRE+ webinars\, subscribe to our newsletter here: fed4fire.eu/newsletter \nDo not forget to follow us: – on Twitter @Fed4FIRE – and please spread the word with our hashtag #f4fwebinars #fed4fire.

SUMMARY:Fed4FIRE+ webinar #2: w-iLab.t
DESCRIPTION:FED4FIRE+ WEBINAR #2 | WIRELESS TESTBED W-ILAB.T\nThe w-iLab.t testbed enables all kinds of wireless\, IoT\, and 5G research. It provides more than 200 nodes in various environments (industrial environment\, office\, datacenter) with up to data WIFI hardware\, user-defined radios\, mobile nodes and IoT devices. The experimenter has full control over all of them. \nThis webinar will provide an overview of the w-iLab.t resources such as wireless fixed and mobile nodes\, IoT\, officelab and portable testbed and a hands-on tutorial on using the testbed.
