SUMMARY:Webinar: Media & Content Hyper-personalisation
DESCRIPTION:Webinar: Media & Content Hyper-personalisation\nWednesday 14.11.2018\, 15:00 CET\nThe European society is based on diversity and only by giving a broad and flexible response\, with the assistance of the hyper-personalization paradigm\, will this diversity be a resource and not a restriction. \nThe global trend towards the extreme differentiation of offerings in products and services cannot be foreign to the sector\, from the recommendation of content to the integration of the final consumer in the design processes. Hyper-personalization through very precise targeting not only ensures the best potential impact but in parallel increases the added value of products and services. \nHyper-personalization technology will allow the gap between providers’ business needs and consumers’ desires to be closed\, allowing consumers to enjoy an increasing range of products whilst service providers battle against the fragmentation of retailing and media across multiple channels and platforms. Appropriate control should be given to consumers to empower them to tailor and tune how hyper-personalization works to meet their needs. \nOne of the key challenges will be to give back the control of personal data to the end users. These data are key for hyper-personalisation but should be under the control of the end user instead of being managed by each service provider with a global inconsistency. \nJoin with Pierre-Yves Danet\, Orange\, to learn more about Media & Content Hyper-personalisation. \nParticipation in the webinar is free of charge\, but requires registration by 14 November 2018\, 12:00 CET (150 attendees).\nPlease register at: https://media-content-hyper-personalisation.eventbrite.co.uk \nBy registering you accept that your user name and any chat questions or comments you share in the webinar are publicly visible to other participants and that the webinar\, including these personal data\, is recorded; the recording is publicly shared on the NGI.eu website and Social Media.\nRegistered participants will receive an access link in the confirmation email. \n\nPierre-Yves DANET graduated from a high French engineer school EFREI\, and joined Orange (France Telecom) in 1992\, taking responsibility of a research group on ISDN. He set up a lab on Home Automation and then moved to the application server research domain. In 2005\, at the creation of the NEM European Technology platform\, he represented Orange at the steering board\, and was appointed vice-chair in charge of Strategy since 2007. In 2010\, he received the Senior grade of SEE (Société de l’Electricité\, de l’Electronique et des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication). Since 2013\, he is in charge of collaborative research – Europe at Orange Labs. He is also the vice-chair of the FIWARE Mundus committee\, which has the objective to evangelise FIWARE outside Europe. He also leads the ETNO Research & Innovation group and represents Orange at the AIOTI. He has been recently appointed as one of the French contact points for the Next Generation Internet initiative. \nMore information about the NGI Expert Group.
